Corporate Tax Manager/Senior Manager

Location: Denver, CO, United States; Workplace for Your Day model with flexibility determined with the supervisor and team, while remaining principally in person.

Salary: $135,000–$225,000 base salary for roles in CO, IL, OH, and MA.

What you will do

• Review federal, foreign, state, and local partnership, corporate, and individual tax returns, estimated payments, extensions, and audit support.
• Prepare and review tax provisions and lead tax compliance, tax planning, and tax provision engagements from planning through completion.
• Advise client management on tax objectives, methodologies, business impacts, solutions, credits, and tax-law changes.
• Manage engagement billing, realization, collections, and effective use of technology such as CCH Axcess.
• Build client and industry relationships, support proposals and sales calls, and participate in networking events.
• Supervise and develop 1–2 associates per engagement and contribute to recruiting, training, mentoring, and thought leadership initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in public accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA or Bar License required.
• Experience preparing and reviewing tax provisions.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. An exception applies to qualified candidates who are bilingual in Japanese and English or Chinese and English.
• Ability to work hours exceeding the standard 40-hour work week in this exempt position.
• Availability for occasional overnight travel to firm-wide trainings and events.
