Chief Information Security Officer Director (Cybersecurity)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates; international travel required approximately 10–20%.

What you will do

• Define and execute the corporate information security strategy, operating model, and multiyear roadmap.
• Advise executive leadership on cyber risk, threat posture, resilience, and risk-based decision-making.
• Establish security policies, standards, and governance aligned with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOX ITGCs, GDPR, and Australia and UK data protection requirements.
• Lead enterprise risk management, compliance monitoring, incident response, breach management, and remediation.
• Embed secure-by-design practices across cloud platforms, SaaS applications, ERP, HRIS, CRM, data platforms, and automation initiatives.
• Oversee third-party cyber risk, support M&A and system integrations, and build a high-performing global information security organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, engineering, or a related field.
• Progressive experience in information security, IT risk, or technology leadership.
• Experience leading enterprise cybersecurity programs in a global organization.
• Expertise securing cloud, SaaS, identity, and enterprise application environments.
• Executive-level communication skills with the ability to translate technical risk into business impact.
• Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC is preferred.

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Experience supporting public company environments, SOX, and internal audit collaboration.
• Cloud security expertise with AWS, Azure, or similar platforms.
• Experience with large-scale digital transformation, enterprise modernization, and multinational matrixed organizations.
