Director, Cybersecurity (AI)

Location: Onsite at the corporate headquarters in the Brickell area of Miami, Florida

hirify.global builds and operates large data centers for AI, colocation, cloud, and Bitcoin mining workloads at the intersection of technology, energy, and infrastructure.

What you will do

• Define and own the cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, and architecture across corporate IT, mining operations, data centers, cloud, and AI/compute environments.
• Establish the enterprise security control framework and GRC program aligned with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and regulatory obligations.
• Design defense-in-depth security for networks, IAM, endpoints, cloud, and OT/industrial control systems.
• Build and lead Security Operations covering threat detection, monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Manage security vendors, tooling strategy, budget, and the transition of capabilities in-house.
• Recruit, mentor, and grow the internal security team while partnering with Software, Networking, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Applied AI leaders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive cybersecurity or information security experience, including 3+ years in a security leadership or director role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture, cloud and SaaS security, IAM, network security, endpoint security, and OT security.
• Hands-on ownership of SOC 2, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOX ITGC, and PCI compliance frameworks, audits, and assessments.
• Experience delivering SIEM/SOC, EDR, vulnerability management, incident response, IAM, API, CI/CD, cloud, and data architecture security programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, budgeting, and security vendor or MSSP negotiation skills, including communication up to board level.

Nice to have

• Experience at a publicly traded company in a SOX environment.
• Master's degree or certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or GIAC.
