Head of Risk and Cyber Security (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design and maintain the enterprise risk management framework, risk appetite statement, and risk registers.
• Lead risk assessments, identify emerging operational, strategic, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks, and drive mitigation plans.
• Own business continuity and disaster recovery planning while supporting internal audit and compliance activities.
• Develop and execute the information security strategy, policies, and controls.
• Oversee threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, penetration testing, data protection compliance, and security awareness training.
• Build and lead the risk and security team, manage the budget and roadmap, and report risk and security posture to executives and the board.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, risk management, computer science, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in risk management and/or cybersecurity, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to the industry and region.
• Experience building risk frameworks and security programs from the ground up or scaling existing programs.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent stakeholder management and board-level communication skills.
