Sr Director, Cyber Security Operations / Deputy CISO (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid in Acton, Massachusetts, with required on-site work from an hirify.global office; U.S.-based position

Annual base salary: $204,400–$306,550, plus potential incentive compensation.

hirify.global is a medical device company developing the Omnipod insulin management platform and other wearable drug-delivery technologies.

What you will do

• Lead and mature global cybersecurity operations across corporate, product, manufacturing, patient, and clinical environments.
• Serve as Deputy CISO and support executive, regulatory, audit, customer, and operational engagements.
• Oversee security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, investigations, crisis response, and recovery.
• Partner with Product Security, R&D, Quality, and Regulatory teams on secure medical device development, threat modeling, risk analysis, testing, and post-market cybersecurity.
• Modernize security capabilities across cloud, identity, endpoint, network, infrastructure, OT, and manufacturing environments.
• Manage cybersecurity governance, third-party risk, budgets, vendors, KPIs, KRIs, executive reporting, and team development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive cybersecurity, information security, or enterprise technology experience.
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing cybersecurity programs, teams, and strategic initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity operations, incident response, vulnerability management, cloud security, identity security, security engineering, and enterprise risk management.
• Experience with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and/or HITRUST, plus knowledge of healthcare and medical device cybersecurity expectations and FDA guidance.
• CISSP required; CISM, CRISC, CCSP, GIAC, or similar certifications are preferred.
