Warehouse Manager, Commercial Operations (Robotics)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; onsite warehouse role

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 annually

What you will do

• Run day-to-day warehouse operations, including layout, storage, labeling, organization, receiving, and inspection of robots, spare parts, and data collection equipment.
• Build and stage equipment kits from project manifests and hand completed kits to the Dispatch Coordinator for delivery to active sites.
• Maintain real-time inventory records covering quantities, condition, location, usage, wear, and repair history.
• Process returned equipment, document damage or missing items, and route gear for repair, restocking, or retirement.
• Manage warehouse safety, cleanliness, compliance, and the proper handling of batteries, tools, and sensitive equipment.
• Hire, train, and manage warehouse staff or temporary labor while coordinating equipment forecasts, shortages, SOPs, and checklists with logistics and dispatch teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or equipment operations, ideally in hardware, robotics, or field-deployed equipment.
• Demonstrated ownership of physical inventory accuracy across the full equipment lifecycle.
• Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with inventory and tracking systems, spreadsheets, and project management tools such as Google Sheets, Jira, Confluence, or inventory platforms.
• Experience managing or leading a small team and coordinating across logistics, dispatch, and project teams.
• Ability to perform physical work and operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or hardware warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP tools.
• Forklift certification.
• Experience supporting the rapid scaling of field operations or deployment programs.
