Salary: $75,000–$95,000 Annually

What you will do

• Lead the graphical evolution of new products from initial layout to final 3D/Solid models.
• Produce detailed drawings and layouts using CAD systems to enable visualization, clearance checks, and CAM operations.
• Collaborate with functional disciplines to define design, drawing, and fabrication requirements.
• Support Engineering, Sales, and Program Management in bid and proposal efforts through assemblies and layouts.
• Coordinate project timelines, provide effort estimates, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of detail drawings.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Mechanical Technology or a relevant major.
• 3+ years of drafting and design experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in mechanical CAD (MCAD) tools; Siemens NX and Teamcenter PLM are highly preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GD&T, machine shop practices, and part fabrication methods.
• Understanding of mechanical hardware design for kinematic mechanisms and packaging within defined envelopes.
• Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of aerospace standards including ASME Y14.5 and MIL-STD.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and tolerance analysis in precision aerospace applications.
• Demonstrated leadership experience mentoring drafting personnel.
• Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or space systems environments.
