Project Coordinator II (Data Center Operations)

What you will do

• Coordinate day-to-day operations across cross-functional teams, OEM vendors, colocation providers, facility providers, and Smart Hands technicians.
• Monitor ticketing systems, incidents, environmental alerts, and operational requests, prioritizing work by urgency, business impact, severity, and SLA.
• Assess temperature, humidity, airflow, and other facility conditions; coordinate investigations, escalations, and corrective actions through resolution.
• Manage data center site activities, including technician scheduling, access and visitor arrangements, shipments, Smart Hands requests, and hardware RMAs.
• Coordinate SEVs and major incident or outage responses, maintaining communication and mobilizing vendors and technical resources.
• Identify recurring issues and process gaps, drive root-cause remediation, and maintain runbooks, SOPs, knowledge-base articles, and incident procedures.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in service coordination, project coordination, IT operations, data center operations, or a similar environment.
• Strong ticket and incident management skills with the ability to prioritize concurrent activities.
• Understanding of data center operations, including environmental, facility, security, and access controls.
• Experience coordinating third-party vendors, Smart Hands, field technicians, or on-site technical resources.
• Experience with SLAs, escalations, incident severity, and operational handovers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.

Nice to have

• Experience working directly with colocation providers or data center facilities.
• Experience with environmental monitoring and facility conditions such as temperature, humidity, and airflow.
• CCNA, Network+, Data Center, or equivalent certification.
