Staff HR Analyst

Location: Remote, based out of Santa Clara, California; Austin, Texas; or Toronto, Ontario

Salary: $100,000–$170,000 annually, including base and variable compensation targets

What you will do

• Build trusted HR reporting and scalable analytics products from raw HR data.
• Develop and improve the BI tooling environment during the first year.
• Improve source-data quality and resolve HRIS and ATS logic upstream.
• Create Tableau dashboards, conversational AI query interfaces, and lightweight custom web pages.
• Partner with HRBPs, recruiters, and executives to turn data into actionable decisions.
• Establish scalable data governance as the organization grows.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in HR or people analytics and readiness to take full ownership.
• Hands-on SQL skills, familiarity with HRIS and ATS data structures, and spreadsheet modeling in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Proven experience creating intuitive Tableau dashboards that stakeholders adopt and use.
• Ability to explain complex technical details in clear, natural language to non-technical partners.
• Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology is required; employment may depend on citizenship or permanent residency status or prior license approval.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt, Snowflake, or GitHub.
• Lightweight web or scripting skills using Python, Apps Script, HTML, or CSS.
• Workforce planning experience.
