Director of Social and Technical Comms (AI)

Location: London, hybrid

Salary: £100,000–£150,000 depending on experience, plus shares and benefits.

hirify.global is working with an AI infrastructure business that is scaling its marketing team and external communications.

What you will do

• Own the social strategy across channels including LinkedIn for the corporate brand and senior leadership profiles.
• Develop executive communications, including ghostwriting, voice development, timely industry angles, and thought leadership.
• Work with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to translate complex technology into compelling external communications.
• Build the company’s visibility engine through speaking opportunities, podcasts, panels, awards, and industry conversations.
• Shape a communications function and create the operating approach rather than inheriting a finished playbook.

Requirements

• Strong experience in B2B technology communications, social media, content, or executive communications.
• Experience communicating complex or technical products to technical audiences.
• Hands-on execution skills and exceptional writing ability.
• Experience building the profile and voice of senior executives.
• Strong understanding of social-native content and how content gains reach.
• Comfort working closely with technical teams and operating with autonomy and creativity.

Nice to have

• Experience in AI, cloud, infrastructure, developer tools, cybersecurity, data, semiconductors, or another complex B2B technology environment.
• Current experience at Senior Manager, Head of, or Director level.
