Senior Accountant, Technical Accounting & Reporting (AI)

What you will do

• Research new, unusual, and complex transactions, including leases, financial instruments, and business combinations, and prepare technical accounting memos and whitepapers under U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare GAAP financial statements, footnote disclosures, supporting schedules, roll-forwards, tie-outs, and internal consistency checks.
• Coordinate external-audit requests, maintain supporting documentation, and execute controls for financial reporting, SOX, and IPO readiness.
• Monitor accounting guidance, update policies, and improve reporting templates, workflows, systems, standardization, and automation.
• Partner with Corporate Accounting, Legal, Corporate Development, Treasury, Tax, FP&A, and Program Finance on transaction evaluation and implementation of accounting conclusions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA license.
• At least 3 years of progressive experience in public accounting, technical accounting, financial reporting, and/or a high-growth operating environment.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience researching accounting guidance and documenting technical conclusions.
• Experience preparing or auditing financial statements, footnote disclosures, and supporting schedules.
• Proficiency with Excel and experience with ERP and financial reporting systems.
• Clear communication, strong ownership, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
