Senior Software Development Engineer, ZHL Operating System (Fullstack)

Location: Remote within the United States; U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 states, with limited exceptions.

Salary: $160,900–$257,100 annually in specified higher-range locations, or $152,900–$244,300 annually in specified lower-range locations. The role is also eligible for equity awards.

What you will do

• Architect, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications and services for the hirify.global Home Loans operating system.
• Shape micro-frontend architecture, shared component patterns, and data-fetching layers across independently deployed experiences.
• Lead complex features from concept through deployment, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product, design, data, and engineering teams to refine requirements and deliver solutions iteratively.
• Establish engineering practices for code quality, testing, observability, CI/CD, and incident response.
• Mentor engineers and monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience across front-end and back-end web application development.
• Experience designing, building, and operating scalable, reliable services and user-facing features in a modern cloud environment.
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional agile teams and influencing technical direction for complex projects.
• Ability to work remotely from within the United States.
