Junior Lab Technician - Construction Testing

Location: Onsite in Farmingdale, New York, USA

Salary: $18–$22 per hour

What you will do

• Perform standardized laboratory tests on concrete, soil, asphalt, masonry, and other construction materials.
• Conduct testing according to ASTM and other applicable standards and methods.
• Report laboratory test results in accordance with standardized requirements.
• Maintain and verify laboratory testing equipment.
• Assist with construction materials testing when needed.
• Complete other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• Technical knowledge or understanding and a willingness to learn; training is provided.
• Obtain ACI Lab Concrete Testing Certifications within six months of hiring.
• Strong mathematics skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
