Manager, Risk Management

Location: Remote work from within the United States; based out of the headquarters in Houston, Texas, with remote arrangements considered for qualified candidates elsewhere in the US.

Salary: $124,000–$186,000 per year

What you will do

• Review insurance, indemnity, and risk-of-loss provisions in contracts.
• Manage project- and country-specific insurance placements and support corporate insurance procurement.
• Coordinate insured claim recovery, including information flow between insurers, third-party administrators, involved parties, and business units.
• Improve risk management policies, procedures, frameworks, and automation initiatives.
• Provide risk management training to business units and support presentations to insurers and brokers.
• Support enterprise risk assessments and corporate risk reporting.

Requirements

• 10+ years of risk management and/or insurance industry experience at a global firm.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Business, or Insurance/Risk Management focus preferred.
• Experience placing international master and project-specific insurance programs.
• Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, manage multiple projects, and work with minimal oversight.
• Strong meeting leadership, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe/PDF, and Microsoft Teams.

Nice to have

• Insurance claims management experience.
• CRIS, CPCU, CRM, ARM, or similar professional designation.
