Employee Benefits Account Executive (Fintech)

Base compensation: $120–$145

What you will do

• Develop action plans to achieve client goals and identify opportunities to grow or diversify employee benefits portfolios.
• Maintain and service an assigned book of business while coordinating resources and monitoring account performance.
• Prepare and market new and renewal submissions with sales and service teams.
• Work with insurance carriers to obtain quotes and verify required specifications.
• Review policies, endorsements, invoices, and internal documents while maintaining accurate agency records.
• Prepare client proposals, negotiate contracts and agreements, and ensure compliance with quality-control and errors-and-omissions standards.

Requirements

• Active Health & Life License required.
• At least 5 years of experience as an Employee Benefits Account Executive or in a similar role.
• Associate degree required.
• Experience with Applied Epic or similar agency management software.
• Strong organization, prioritization, initiative, communication, interpersonal, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, plus the ability to apply insurance principles to client situations.

• Experience with Employee Navigator.
