Poromerics Area Maintenance Reliability Engineer

Location: Newark, Delaware, United States; onsite in a manufacturing and industrial environment

What you will do

• Maximize equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability across the Poromerics Area.
• Develop and optimize preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
• Lead root cause failure analysis investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and utility systems.
• Manage MTBF, MTTR, and asset availability metrics while supporting capital projects, equipment upgrades, and new installations.
• Coordinate contractors and maintenance service providers and partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams on plant performance improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, reliability, or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
• Experience with CMMS/EAM systems such as SAP, Maximo, or MaintainX.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and reliability tools.
• Regular plant inspections, occasional off-hours support, and PPE compliance are required.

Nice to have

• CMRP, CRE, Six Sigma, or related certification.
• Experience in chemical, manufacturing, food, pharmaceutical, or industrial operations.
• Knowledge of vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and condition monitoring technologies.
