Senior Software Engineer - Wealth Technology (Azure)

What you will do

• Develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications using C#, .NET, and Microsoft Azure services.
• Build scalable APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions for Wealth Technology products.
• Design and implement Azure-native cloud architectures and modern data ingestion, transformation, and delivery pipelines.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows to improve engineering productivity and solution delivery.
• Review pull requests, conduct code reviews, resolve merge conflicts, and maintain secure, resilient source code.
• Analyze technical and business requirements, document implementation details, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders on application architecture.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree with at least 5 years of systems analysis or application development experience, or bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, at least 7 years of combined education and relevant work experience, including 3 years of systems analysis or application development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in at least one relevant programming language.
• Experience with C#, .NET 8+ or .NET Core, SQL Server, Angular, REST API design, microservices, Git or GitLab, Azure Data Factory, event-driven data architecture, and test-driven development.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage complex projects, communicate clearly, and follow software development lifecycle, risk, regulatory, and internal control standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with wealth management, asset management, trust, brokerage, investment platforms, banking, or broader financial services.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Kubernetes, containerized workloads, event streaming, or real-time data architectures.
• Experience developing autonomous or agentic workflows with orchestration frameworks.
• Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, time management, and communication skills.
