Senior C# / Azure Application Developer (.NET)

Location: Suffolk, Virginia / Government site in Norfolk, Virginia, United States

Salary: $100,000–$175,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise web applications and tools using C# and .NET.
• Support a mission-critical dashboard providing real-time connection status and operational visibility.
• Develop application upgrades, enhancements, and new functionality.
• Troubleshoot production application and database issues and deliver reliable solutions.
• Manage Microsoft SQL Server databases, including queries, stored procedures, data extraction, integration, reporting, and performance optimization.
• Use Azure, Azure DevOps, Git or TFVC, and automated build and release processes to support secure software delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 10+ years of software or application development experience with significant hands-on C# and .NET experience.
• Experience developing, maintaining, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise or web-based applications.
• Experience with Azure or Azure DevOps and Microsoft SQL Server in an application development environment.
• Experience with Git or Team Foundation Version Control, automated build and release processes, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Active Secret Security Clearance or higher is required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting U.S. Navy, Department of Defense, or other federal government customers.
• Agile software development and DevOps experience.
• Familiarity with IIS, Microsoft server technologies, enterprise web hosting, and SQL Server performance tuning.
• Experience with enterprise account management tools, hosted websites, dashboards, or similar applications.
