Senior Manager, Enterprise Security (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite in Denver, Colorado or Long Beach, California. U.S. ITAR eligibility is required: candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Base salary: $165,000–$240,000 in Denver or $170,000–$250,000 in Long Beach, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Hire, coach, mentor, and develop enterprise security, vulnerability management, and Linux security engineers.
• Define and drive the security roadmap across workstations, servers, cloud environments, and Linux fleets.
• Own vulnerability management maturity, SLA adherence, risk-based prioritization, and program resourcing.
• Set strategy for operational technology security, enterprise identity, access management, and configuration management.
• Partner with IT, DevOps, engineering, and manufacturing stakeholders to embed security into SDLC and infrastructure-as-code workflows.
• Provide technical oversight for identity architecture, CIS/STIG hardening, SIEM and detection strategy, cloud security posture management, and compliance evidence.

Requirements

• 5+ years managing security engineering teams, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
• 7+ years of information security or related technical experience, including substantial hands-on individual contributor work.
• Experience building or maturing enterprise security, vulnerability management, operational technology, Linux, or enterprise identity security programs.
• Strong understanding of enterprise and cloud technologies, vulnerabilities, attack vectors, SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, MDM, and endpoint protection.
• Working knowledge of a programming or scripting language such as Python, Go, Bash, or Rust.
• Experience leading teams through active security incidents and on-call operations, with strong strategic and communication skills.

• Startup, Series C–E, or high-growth management experience.
• Active security clearance or defense-industry experience.
• Experience securing manufacturing or operational technology environments.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Terraform, GitOps, CI/CD, Linux security architecture, privileged access management, CMMC, or NIST.
• CISSP, CISM, CISA, bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience.
