What you will do

• Triage and analyze security alerts from various sensors and threat intelligence sources.
• Investigate and escalate security incidents by analyzing host, cloud, and network indicators.
• Proactively hunt for advanced threats within collected telemetry.
• Develop and align incident handling policies with global industry standards.
• Research emerging threats and implement appropriate countermeasures.
• Maintain and tune security infrastructure and alerting tools.

Requirements

• Must be based in Illinois for a hybrid work arrangement.
• 3+ years of experience in Incident Response, Incident Analysis, or Computer Forensics.
• Strong skills in network forensics, memory forensics, and packet analysis.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, cryptography, and web application attacks.
• Experience with cloud environments such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Ability to independently manage and prioritize complex security events.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional/military experience.
• Certifications such as GCFA, GCIA, GCIH, GNFA, GREM, OSCP, or CEH.
• Experience in the legal or e-discovery space.
• Experience with SaaS environments operating on a global scale.
