Security Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site, New York City office; applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals or U.S. lawful permanent residents

Salary: $145,000–$200,000 annually plus equity

What you will do

• Implement and manage security for internal information systems infrastructure and processes.
• Develop security capabilities, controls, and protective measures with senior engineers.
• Enforce security policies across internal systems and infrastructure.
• Monitor systems for security threats and support detection and response activities.
• Deploy and manage endpoint security solutions, including EDR tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience in Java, Go, Python, or another programming language.
• 5+ years of experience with detection and response, security monitoring, or infrastructure security assessments.
• Experience with authentication, encryption, firewalls, vulnerability scanning, SIEM/SOAR, audit logs, and security frameworks such as Spring Security.
• Experience with public cloud providers including GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with IAM protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and SCIM, as well as email security protocols including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.

• Experience working with AI/ML tools and products, including their capabilities and limitations.
