Field Technician (Construction Materials Testing)

What you will do

• Perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials according to applicable standards and project requirements.
• Conduct quality control inspections on construction sites and document observations.
• Prepare field reports, test results, and supporting project documentation.
• Maintain complete and organized field and laboratory records.
• Communicate test results and observations to project managers, contractors, and clients.
• Follow safety procedures and industry standards while supporting additional testing and inspection duties.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in construction materials testing, quality control inspection, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of standard test methods for soils, concrete, and asphalt.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Nice to have

• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I certification.
• Radiation/Nuclear Gauge Safety Certification.
• Additional ICC, WAQTC, NICET, or related construction inspection certifications.
