Digital Engineering Lead (BIM)

What you will do

• Develop and deliver project BIM strategies aligned with project, programme, and client requirements.
• Plan, implement, and maintain BIM processes, procedures, standards, and tools for digital twins of major infrastructure assets.
• Coordinate subject matter experts and BIM specialists to maintain the integrity and value of federated BIM models, including 4D and 5D applications.
• Lead design team and clash reviews, facilitate meetings, identify project tasks, and resolve issues.
• Interface with key delivery partners and third parties to coordinate BIM content and model federation.
• Audit project teams, identify non-compliances, and support continuous improvement through industry best-practice knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Engineering qualification or a demonstrable track record managing BIM processes and technologies on major capital projects through design and construction.
• Experience planning and executing BIM transformation projects.
• In-depth working knowledge of one or more of Autodesk Revit, Inventor, Navisworks, and Aveva E3D.
• Experience developing processes, plans, procedures, and BIM Execution Plans in line with regulator, client, and programme requirements.
• Ability to prioritise work, direct the activities of others, and communicate complex technical matters to internal and external stakeholders.
• Right to live and work in the United Kingdom is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
