Senior Water Resources Manager- Modeling

Location: Hybrid work in Hampton Roads, Chantilly, Newport News, or Richmond, Virginia, United States

What you will do

• Manage water resources projects for primarily municipal clients in Virginia.
• Perform engineering work and provide technical leadership on project teams.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and support business development.
• Prepare proposals and help generate new client work.
• Manage contracts and task orders.
• Mentor engineering staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with coursework in water resources, including hydrology and hydraulics.
• 10+ years of experience performing and managing water resources projects.
• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using SWMM, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS; 2D SWMM is preferred.
• Professional Engineer license in Virginia or the ability to attain one within 3–6 months.
• Experience with client service management, FEMA floodplain management, ArcGIS mapping and data analysis, and contract and task order management.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory DMV record check, and insurability required.
