Virtual Propulsion Engineer (CAE)

What you will do

• Develop and execute advanced computer-aided engineering analyses for propulsion systems.
• Support the design, development, validation, and optimization of internal combustion engines, transmissions, drive units, electric motors, and rechargeable energy storage systems.
• Apply simulation-driven engineering to improve product performance, quality, durability, efficiency, and time-to-market.
• Partner with design, advanced project, validation, and manufacturing engineers, as well as suppliers.
• Advance virtual product development through simulation, automation, correlation, and capability development.

Requirements

• Experience developing and executing advanced CAE analyses.
• Focus in one or more of structural, durability, dynamics, NVH, sealing, fastening, cranktrain, or fatigue analysis.
• Ability to support validation and optimization of automotive propulsion systems.
• Ability to collaborate with design, validation, manufacturing, project engineering, and supplier stakeholders.
