Director of Strategic Growth (Federal Contracting)

Location: Leesburg, Virginia; must be local to the DMV area

What you will do

• Develop and execute a business development strategy for National Security and federal civilian sectors.
• Identify, qualify, and capture new federal contracting opportunities using GWACs, OASIS, Polaris, and IDIQ vehicles.
• Build and maintain relationships with agency decision-makers, program managers, contracting officers, prime contractors, and industry partners.
• Lead capture activities and support the preparation and submission of proposals aligned with agency needs.
• Monitor government priorities, market trends, and competitor activity, providing recommendations to executive leadership.
• Collaborate with the COO, Vice President of Capture and Proposals, and other senior leaders to coordinate growth initiatives.

Requirements

• 10 years of total experience, including 8+ years in federal business development and contracting.
• Experience qualifying, developing win strategies, capturing, and supporting proposal development activities.
• Successful pursuit experience in artificial intelligence, intelligent automation, data science, digital transformation, and cloud.
• Knowledge of National Security agencies including DHS, DOJ, and DoS, and federal civilian agencies including Commerce, FDIC, and SEC.
• Established relationships with federal stakeholders and experience leading and mentoring teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Government, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

• Experience capturing and bidding opportunities involving Databricks and ServiceNow.
• MBA or another advanced degree.
