Computer Vision/AI Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build and improve AI-powered tennis video analysis from smartphone-recorded match footage.
• Support the full computer vision and machine learning pipeline, from dataset quality and model evaluation to production-oriented improvements.
• Develop custom tracking, smoothing, temporal decoding, and model interpretation logic.
• Evaluate model outputs, diagnose failure modes, recommend experiments, and implement targeted improvements.
• Deploy and optimize cloud-based video processing pipelines and selected edge/mobile inference workflows.
• Communicate technical trade-offs and work under the guidance of the Head of Engineering and CTO.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong practical computer vision experience, particularly with real-world video.
• Strong Python and PyTorch skills.
• Experience with object detection, object tracking, classification, or keypoint-style models.
• Knowledge of dataset strategy, annotation quality, validation design, and metric interpretation.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with on-device edge or mobile inference, including ONNX, Core ML, TensorFlow Lite, quantization, pruning, latency optimization, or mobile performance tuning.
• Experience with sports video analytics.
• Experience tracking balls, rackets, pucks, or other fast-moving objects.
• Experience with smartphone-recorded or consumer-quality video.
