Staff Financial Analyst (SaaS)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Salary: $154,000–$208,500 per year, with potential cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Advise leadership on one- and three-year strategic plans, business risks, opportunities, and investment decisions.
• Partner with Marketing, Analytics, channel partners, Accounting, and other cross-functional teams to develop KPIs and improve business performance.
• Build and maintain financial models for promotions, pricing, sales channels, product portfolio decisions, and customer lifecycle economics.
• Prepare month-end close packages, financial reports, and variance analyses.
• Streamline, standardize, and automate finance processes and reporting.
• Coach and develop talent while influencing decisions across the Finance organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in FP&A roles, preferably in software, SaaS, or subscription-based businesses.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience building complex financial models; Hyperion Essbase experience is preferred.
• Ability to synthesize large data volumes into actionable recommendations for executive leadership.
• Strong influencing, communication, prioritization, and change-management skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive business growth.
• BS/BA in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience.

• MBA.
• Hyperion Essbase experience.
