Cybersecurity and Privacy Intern (AI)

Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid work with in-person attendance at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site.

Salary: $40 per hour in the Manhattan, New York office.

What you will do

• Support Cybersecurity & Privacy engagements across planning, engagement management, and project wrap-up.
• Contribute to cyber strategy and program design, business and cyber strategy alignment, and AI in cybersecurity and privacy.
• Support privacy compliance, cookie and consent management, and data protection initiatives.
• Work on cloud security, identity and access management, cyber threat monitoring, incident management, cyber war gaming, and ethical hacking projects.
• Identify business development opportunities, participate in marketing and brand initiatives, and assist with thought leadership development.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, information systems, data analytics, informatics, cybersecurity, information security, or a technology-focused program.
• Strong business and technical aptitude, analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to connect business strategy, technology, and Cybersecurity & Privacy compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively, and learn through structured, on-the-job, and self-directed training.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Juris Doctorate degree with an interest in cybersecurity and data privacy.
