NPI Procurement Specialist (Flash)

Location: Onsite at the Milpitas, California office; Irvine is listed as a secondary office.

Salary: $126,300–$214,700 per year.

What you will do

• Lead procurement execution across the full lifecycle of new product introduction programs.
• Drive BOM cost targets, should-cost analysis, negotiated costs, supplier selection, and early design-for-cost decisions.
• Identify and mitigate component and supplier risks through multi-sourcing, capacity alignment, and long-term agreement readiness.
• Partner with Engineering, Commodity Management, Planning, Operations, Sourcing, and Factory Materials teams.
• Track program expenditures, resolve supplier and internal issues, and maintain procurement deliverables across milestones.
• Enable the transition from NPI to mass production and continuity of supply after launch.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Materials Program Management, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
• Strong understanding of NPI procurement, sourcing strategy, and supply chain risk management.
• Ability to lead a team while owning end-to-end delivery outcomes.
• Experience driving cost, schedule, and supply continuity in complex programs.
• Strong data-driven problem solving, project management, prioritization, communication, and stakeholder influence skills.
