Field Service Technician (Appliance Repair) (Consumer Electronics)

Location: Fairfield, Connecticut, with coverage required across the greater Fairfield area and surrounding locations

Salary: $28–$32.50 USD per hour

What you will do

• Travel to customer homes to maintain and repair LG appliances, TVs, and A/C units.
• Diagnose technical issues and perform specialized repairs on electronics and major appliances.
• Assess repair needs, replace parts when required, and document findings accurately.
• Manage inventory, use company-provided vehicles, diagnostic tools, and safety equipment.
• Pre-screen service calls and complete paperwork and data entry after each job.
• Meet customer satisfaction, first-time-fix, parts management, and other service performance metrics.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical role; appliance repair experience is preferred.
• Experience repairing major appliances, including refrigeration and sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products.
• Experience using hand tools and diagnostic test equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product or system issues.
• Valid driver's license in good standing and ability to lift up to 50 pounds with frequent bending.
• Ability to obtain the required EPA certification.
