Vice President, Capital Markets & Investor Relations

hirify.global develops fusion energy technology and is raising capital to execute its plan to bring the first ARC fusion power plant to the grid.

What you will do

• Own equity raise processes across growth equity, strategic, sovereign, infrastructure, and public crossover capital.
• Create and maintain investor-facing materials, updates, diligence packs, and the virtual data room.
• Present and pressure-test the technical equity story with the CEO and CFO, incorporating market feedback.
• Manage investor targeting, shareholder communications, information rights, roadshows, and long-term investor relationships.
• Build the CRM, segmented target universe, materials library, disclosure processes, and investor relations function.
• Recruit and lead a small team, select external advisors, and partner with Corporate Development, Legal, Communications, Global Affairs, and Commercial.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, science, or a related field.
• Deep professional experience in a senior investor-facing role involving a technical, content-rich story.
• Track record owning public-company investor relations or leading capital raising from inside a capital-intensive company.
• Strong investor relationships across multiple capital categories and geographies, with credibility among institutional investors, executives, and boards.
• Experience with capital-intensive first-of-a-kind technology or category-creating companies, plus strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a facility with industrial hazards, including high voltage, strong magnets, fumes, pressure systems, and cryogenics; occasional travel, nights, weekends, or on-call work may be required.

Nice to have

• MBA, CFA, or comparable credential.
• Project finance or infrastructure capital experience.
• Experience preparing a private company for public-company readiness, including reporting, disclosure controls, or the S-1 process.
• Experience building an investor relations or capital markets function from the ground up.
