Senior Associate, Investment Operations

Location: Santa Monica, United States; hybrid work policy applies

Salary: $75,000–$100,000 per year, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Oversee daily operations delivered by service providers for mutual funds, ETFs, and other external vendors.
• Monitor NAV production, review fund benchmarks and daily deliverables, and evaluate operational exceptions.
• Analyze root causes, coordinate remediation, and maintain effective operating controls.
• Support new fund products and launches, system enhancements, testing, and process improvement initiatives.
• Monitor vendor KPIs, metrics, reporting, contractual controls, and service-level agreements.
• Handle client inquiries and escalated issues while coordinating information across internal stakeholders and external providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting or investment operations, including experience with a third-party fund administrator or fund accountant.
• In-depth knowledge of custody, fund accounting, and investment operations workflows for mutual funds and ETFs.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication, prioritization, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
• This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Power BI and Power Automate.
• Experience supporting UCITS, Canadian Funds, or separately managed accounts.
