Location: Hybrid (Dublin, Ireland) - 1-2 days per week on-site

What you will do

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases across UI, API, and backend systems.
• Build and scale robust automation frameworks for UI and API testing using Python and Selenium.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to define quality goals early in the development lifecycle.
• Partner with infrastructure teams to implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and drive timely resolution with development teams.
• Advocate for a shift-left testing approach to embed quality practices throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, including test plan design and execution.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in UI and API test automation for web and/or mobile.
• Proficiency in Python (preferred), Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium and/or Appium.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Dublin, Ireland.

Nice to have

• Experience testing non-PC devices (game consoles, phones, or set-top boxes).
• Experience with React Native.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed system testing strategies.
• Experience with performance, load, and scalability testing tools.
