Foundry Metrology Manufacturing Operations Manager (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead technicians, set priorities, manage performance, and develop an inclusive, high-performing team.
• Monitor manufacturing operations, identify issues, and drive urgent resolution across the area.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, MBPS, and Six Sigma to improve safety, quality, cost, and output.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve equipment and automation issues and optimize performance.
• Develop training plans and manage technician skill development.
• Manage shift schedules, workstation assignments, rotations, and staffing requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree, or a technical military STEM background with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a leadership role.
• At least 1 year of experience working with complex software, extracting data, and performing data analysis.
• Experience with database frameworks or tools such as SQL or JMP.
• Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, adaptability, accountability, coaching, and structured problem-solving skills.
• This position is on-site in the United States and is not eligible for hirify.global immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with factory operations, metrology tooling, and yield development.
• Experience with factory systems such as AM, CA2, PX2, or TALA.
• Experience with equipment qualification or equipment support.
• Experience leading continuous improvement projects with measurable results.
• Experience managing ambiguity, conflicting priorities, leadership, and complex problem solving.
