Program Manager III (Factory Automation)

Location: Space Coast, Florida, with flexible work location across hirify.global sites. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees or asylees.

Base pay range for Washington applicants: $112,059.00–$156,882.60 annually; other site ranges may differ.

What you will do

• Manage the programmatic framework and operating system for the Factory Automation lifecycle, from requirements definition through commissioning.
• Lead portfolio reviews covering cost, schedule, risk, and technical performance for Project Horizon.
• Track automation capital expenditure, savings, return on investment, cost avoidance, and efficiency gains.
• Standardize JIRA, scheduling tools, processes, and KPIs across Factory Automation projects.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, controls, IT/OT, finance, and program stakeholders without direct authority.
• Identify schedule, budget, integration, and value-stream risks and lead lasting cross-functional solutions.

Requirements

• B.S. or B.A. degree in engineering, program management, business, or a related technical field.
• At least 4 years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience managing program frameworks, budgets, integrated master schedules, risks, performance reporting, and project portfolios.
• Experience with new product introduction and development-to-production transitions at a systemic level.
• Ability to influence multifunctional teams in a matrix environment and use JIRA, enterprise scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.
• U.S. citizenship or nationality, U.S. permanent residency, or qualifying refugee/asylee status is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering or an MBA.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or high-rate production environments.
• Familiarity with robotics, PLC/SCADA, and MES factory automation systems.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification, or willingness to obtain PMP certification within six months of hire.
• Experience creating executive dashboards and capital tracking models.
