Service Parts Buyer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Own procurement of approximately 800 service parts from the FN Truck and FN SUV production supply base.
• Manage RFQs, negotiate pricing and terms, execute purchase orders, establish MOQs, and drive cost reduction.
• Define service packaging specifications and coordinate logistics across direct-ship, 3PL warehouse, and subassembly fulfillment channels.
• Coordinate receiving, storage, pick/pack, and distribution processes with the 3PL provider.
• Maintain service parts data including lead times, sourcing status, and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, service operations, and customer experience teams on specifications, warranty requirements, and BOM changes.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of purchasing or supply chain experience in automotive or manufacturing.
• Experience with supplier management, negotiation, service packaging, MOQ management, and direct-ship logistics models.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• OEM service parts, aftermarket procurement, or dealer and repair network supply experience is strongly preferred.
