Director, Finance - Global Partner Organization (Data Storage)

Location: Primarily in-office at the Santa Clara, California or New York, New York office.

Annual base salary: $211,000–$338,000 USD, with potential incentive pay and/or equity.

What you will do

• Partner with the VP of the Global Partner Organization and senior channel leaders to shape go-to-market strategy and optimize partner investments.
• Own global contra and partner program economics, including annual operating plans, forecasts, rebates, rewards, and incentive structures.
• Build payout governance, control frameworks, and ROI models to measure incremental bookings from partner investments.
• Define cross-functional review gates, exception workflows, and decision rights for partner agreements and non-standard commercial terms.
• Manage consolidated GPO operating expenses and workforce planning, aligning resources with corporate budgets.
• Lead and mentor international finance talent while delivering executive-ready scorecards, metrics, and automated reporting.

Requirements

• Deep experience in FP&A, sales finance, partner revenue models, rebates, incentives, contra-revenue accounting, and operating budget management.
• Strong executive communication and cross-functional influence across global, matrixed teams.
• Advanced financial forecasting, quantitative modeling, risk governance, and operational control skills.
• Experience with enterprise tools such as Anaplan, NetSuite, Salesforce, SQL, or Tableau.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and empower remote or international finance team members.
• Ability to work from the Santa Clara or New York office in accordance with company policy.
