Full Stack Tech Lead (Java)

Location: Columbus, Ohio; hybrid schedule with in-office presence two days per week. Candidates must live within a commutable distance to Columbus.

Salary: $118,000–$178,000 expected starting annual salary range; national range $118,000–$222,000.

What you will do

• Lead planning, development, modernization, testing, documentation, and deployment of secure digital applications.
• Coordinate technical direction and project execution across three agile development lines.
• Design, build, and support APIs and full-stack solutions for CIAM, CAM, Preference Center, and COAST platforms.
• Advise application teams and stakeholders on technical approaches, architecture, and technology decisions.
• Champion secure software engineering and DevSecOps practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers, share technical knowledge, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least six years of experience in programming and systems analysis.
• Hands-on technical leadership experience setting technical direction and leading project teams.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, full-stack development, and API design.
• Knowledge of software development fundamentals, software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and secure engineering practices.
• Experience with Apigee, AWS, Kubernetes, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Harness, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based within a commutable distance to Columbus, Ohio; employer-sponsored work authorization and STEM OPT Extension sponsorship are not available.

Nice to have

• Three years of project management experience.
• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, mathematics, or a related field.
