Full Stack Mid-level Java Software Engineer (Azure/Kubernetes)

Location: Wilmington, Delaware, United States. Candidates must already be authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary: $64,491.00–$105,949.50 per year, plus potential incentive and retention awards.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient software systems.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and other programming languages.
• Contribute to Domain-Driven Design models and secure application architecture.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Develop automated tests, debug production issues, and collaborate with QA engineers.
• Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and technical problem-solving while improving system performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technology discipline.
• At least 3 years of software development experience focused on Java backend, full-stack, or cloud-native development.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful microservices, APIs, Azure, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated deployment, Agile methodologies, SDLC, monitoring tools, and test automation.
• Knowledge of security practices, encryption, identity management, infrastructure as code, SQL/NoSQL databases, and database design.
• Current authorization to work for any employer in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Banking or financial services industry experience.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Terraform, CloudFormation, JUnit, or Mocha.
