Associate Project Engineer

Location: Columbus, Ohio; client site in Circleville, Ohio. Work is performed onsite, with schedule flexibility for remote work opportunities.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for projects typically valued up to $500K within program and customer guidelines.
• Define, generate, and review project requirements documentation.
• Perform technical studies to refine project requirements and support project decisions.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure they remain well defined and maintained.
• Coordinate with resource managers and supervisors to obtain required reviews and approvals.
• Conduct project and performance analyses during phase-down to support future projects and programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 0–5 years of project engineering experience; small-project cost control and support are preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
• Strong business and analytical acumen.
• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills for working in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Ability to work at a client site, including exposure to temperature extremes, extensive walking, climbing, elevated platforms, uneven surfaces, and confined spaces.
