Billing & Collection Manager (Fintech)

Location: Remote, based in the Philippines

hirify.global is a fintech product company that uses AI to help eCommerce merchants manage credit card disputes, recover lost revenue, and protect their businesses from chargeback fraud.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop the Billing & Collections team, setting priorities, workloads, expectations, and performance standards.
• Own the end-to-end billing cycle, including invoice generation, pricing and contract compliance checks, and invoice distribution.
• Manage accounts receivable, cash reconciliation, aging reports, bad-debt risk, and overdue payment reduction.
• Handle complex customer billing conversations and escalations while maintaining strong relationships with key customers.
• Build reports covering billing and collection performance, team KPIs, risks, and trends.
• Improve controls, automate manual work, support cash-flow forecasting, and scale billing and collection operations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in billing, collections, accounts receivable, or related financial operations.
• Proven experience managing, coaching, and developing a Billing, Collections, Accounts Receivable, or Finance Operations team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of billing processes, collection strategies, account reconciliation, and accounting principles.
• Experience with billing platforms, CRM systems, and tools such as Stripe, Shopify, HubSpot, or similar.
• Previous fintech, payments, or payment-processing experience, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Excellent English is required.

• MBA or another advanced qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• Experience leading billing and collections for a global SaaS business.
• Experience managing a remote or distributed finance operations team.
• Experience improving or automating billing and collection workflows.
