Senior Accounting Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packages for corporate consolidation and local statutory requirements.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes while meeting strict deadlines.
• Supervise core accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and payroll interfaces.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with local tax, statutory, US GAAP, IFRS, and company requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, finance teams, banks, regulators, and local management while improving accounting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus a professional accounting certification such as CPA.
• More than 10 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a Controller or Accounting Manager role.
• Experience managing financial closes, statutory financial statements, external audits, multinational corporations, and the fintech industry.
• Public accounting experience in a Big Four firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and/or local GAAP.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, along with strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
