Director. Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) & Field Medical Excellence (Hybrid - Acton, MA)

Location: Hybrid, with on-site work required from an hirify.global office; Acton, Massachusetts. The role may also be performed remotely in the U.S. or from countries where hirify.global has legal entities. International travel and external customer engagements are estimated at 20% of the time.

Annual base salary for U.S.-based positions: $191,900–$287,900, with potential eligibility for incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Co-develop and drive a KOL excellence operating framework across U.S. and international Medical Affairs teams.
• Define KOL strategies, mapping, engagement plans, and tracking and reporting processes using CRM platforms.
• Mature and strengthen the Field Medical operating model with regional and country-level medical teams.
• Develop an actionable field insights reporting approach to guide enterprise-wide strategy.
• Contribute to the global advisory board framework and build joint value with external stakeholders.
• Create medical affairs competency models and execute capability development plans.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of preferred industry experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, KOL engagement, Field Medical Excellence, medical affairs, medical excellence, effectiveness, or strategic operations.
• Experience in capability building, competency development, and training functions.
• Leadership experience and the ability to collaborate across regional, country-level, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with platforms or CRM systems is ideal.
• Expertise in medical strategy, communication and influence, external engagement, joint-value creation, and project management.
