Engineering Manager (AI DevEx)

Salary: $236,000–$339,200 per year

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and grow the AI DevEx engineering team while establishing strong planning, ownership, and career development practices.
• Define and deliver the vision and roadmap for transforming the software development lifecycle across Snowflake.
• Drive measurable improvements in code review latency and enable engineers to use current AI harnesses and models.
• Build golden paths and development foundations for agentic codebases.
• Make timely, high-quality decisions in a rapidly evolving AI and developer productivity environment.
• Own operational excellence, including on-call health, incident response, postmortems, maintenance, and support.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years leading a technical engineering team, including people leadership, roadmap ownership, and hands-on technical judgment.
• Hands-on experience with current AI tools, particularly productivity-focused tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder alignment and cross-functional work.
• Pragmatic, customer-focused approach with emphasis on reliability, performance, ease of use, and measurable impact.
