Senior AI Engineer (AI Enablement)

Location: Paris or Athens; hybrid workplace

Company

hirify.global's Engineering Cloud Platform department is developing internal capabilities for company-wide AI adoption.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate production-grade AI agents, assistants, and automations for internal functions.
• Build shared platform foundations, including frameworks, knowledge-base pipelines, evaluation tooling, and reusable integrations.
• Work with functional champions to understand workflows and deliver high-leverage automation solutions.
• Implement security guardrails, data privacy, auditability, and human-in-the-loop practices.
• Measure adoption, quality, cost, and time savings, while maintaining reliability, observability, and incident response processes.
• Contribute to AI-assisted engineering practices, documentation, mentoring, hiring, and onboarding.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems end-to-end.
• Production experience with LLM-powered features, agents, or AI tooling.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with model APIs, agent frameworks, prompt and context engineering, RAG, and knowledge bases.
• Strong foundations in system design, APIs, databases, application architecture, SaaS integrations, and data pipelines.
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS, CI/CD, and containerisation, plus practical AI security and data-privacy knowledge.

Nice to have

• Experience with MCP-style tool interfaces, multi-agent systems, or agent frameworks.
• Experience with RAG and knowledge-base systems, LLM evaluation, or observability tooling.
• Background in internal tools, platform tooling, developer-experience products, LLM cost optimization, or full-stack development.
