Advanced Development Engineer (m/f/d) Fluency in German

Location: Austria; Engineering department in Jenbach. Willingness to travel is required.

What you will do

• Develop, design, validate, and release service products for the fluid, digital, and controls domains.
• Support Conversion Modification & Upgrade and productivity initiatives in collaboration with the Service PLM team.
• Improve existing products by addressing robustness, usability, cost, and technology integration priorities.
• Organize, prepare, and document testing on development engines, rig test facilities, and in the field.
• Coordinate with Technology, Sourcing, Validation, Service Regions, internal departments, and suppliers.
• Support project definition and execution while managing multiple projects independently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, a higher technical college qualification such as HTL, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in engineering or technical service.
• Technical understanding of reciprocating engine operation and maintenance requirements.
• Experience with oil and coolant assessment, digital solutions, controls, sensorics, analytics, and condition-based assessment of engine components.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluency in German and English is required.
