TL;DR
Associate Product Delivery Technician (Aerospace): Testing and preparing flight-deliverable electronic assemblies for space and defense products with an accent on functional, vibration, thermal, EMI, and thermal-vacuum testing. Focus on component-level debugging, hardware assembly, test documentation, and operating environmental test equipment.

Location: Onsite in Phoenix/Gilbert, Arizona, United States

Salary: $30.00–$33.00 per hour

What you will do

  • Test flight-deliverable electronic assemblies using functional scripts and electrical ground support equipment.
  • Execute vibration, thermal, EMI, and thermal-vacuum environmental tests according to written procedures.
  • Support engineers with component-level debugging using digital multimeters and oscilloscopes, then communicate findings.
  • Install circuit card assemblies into chassis, perform limited cable or circuit-card rework, and assemble test equipment enclosures and panels.
  • Document troubleshooting results, update test procedures and equipment designs, and support formal integration and acceptance test documentation.
  • Maintain organized work areas through 5S practices and perform related technical tasks under senior technician supervision.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of hands-on testing technician experience.
  • Associate degree in electrical and computer technology or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical circuit functionality and practical use of electrical test equipment.
  • Experience with scripting and Windows applications including Visio, Word, and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to follow direction, take ownership of assignments, and complete work on time.
  • Work must be performed onsite in Arizona, and the position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

  • J-STD certification and experience creating cable drawings in Visio.
  • Programming-language knowledge and schematic-capture experience.
  • Cable assembly and soldering experience.
  • Experience scripting LabVIEW VIs.
