Cybersecurity IT Audit Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid, with a principally in-person working model across offices in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts. Overnight travel for client work and firm events is required 25–35% of the time. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Salary: $123,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Perform and manage IT audits, security assessments, and technology risk evaluations.
• Manage multiple client projects and teams across scoping, budgeting, resourcing, delivery, and quality assurance.
• Lead client discussions and communicate audit findings, project challenges, risks, and control deficiencies.
• Train and guide team members on IT audit and information security concepts.
• Support practice development, recruiting, networking, and the creation of new audit and security tools and services.
• Attend and present at professional conferences and contribute to internal firm initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience performing and supervising technology risk assessments, IT audits, or IT internal control evaluations and reporting.
• Knowledge of COBIT, CSI, NIST, ISO, and related risk assessment approaches.
• Experience in professional services or client-facing work, including defining service and project scope.
• Strong professional writing, verbal communication, problem-solving, organization, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with assessment and audit tools and Microsoft Office; flexibility to respond to client requests within total and billable hour goals.

Nice to have

• Current CISA, CISSP, or equivalent certification, or a commitment to obtain a preferred certification within one year.
• Bilingual Japanese-English or Chinese-English candidates may be considered for an exception to the sponsorship requirement.
