Full Stack Engineer (Next.js/React)

Location: Denver, Colorado, USA — hybrid with three days onsite per week

Salary: $85,000–$115,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Design and build new and existing full-stack web application modules across UI, APIs, middleware, microservices, ETL, and data flows.
• Develop user-facing features and reusable frontend components with Next.js, Node.js, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Build robust, scalable backend services and integrate RESTful APIs with database technologies.
• Partner with product managers, UX designers, backend engineers, and quality engineers to deliver accessible, usable digital products.
• Optimize website performance, ensure cross-browser compatibility, and perform unit, performance, and automation testing.
• Document code and APIs, contribute to code reviews, and deliver iteratively in an Agile team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another discipline, with strong fundamentals in system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• At least five years of production JavaScript/TypeScript application design, development, and testing experience.
• At least five years of web application development experience, preferably with Node.js, RESTful APIs, and MySQL or another database technology.
• Experience developing and maintaining full-stack web applications with Next.js and proficiency in Node.js or React.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, continuous delivery, unit testing, performance testing, and automation testing.
• Ability to work from the Denver office three days per week, with flexible hours for collaboration across global time zones.
